Special traffic arrangements on Hong Kong Island for public processions

     Police will implement special traffic arrangements on October 1 (Tuesday) to facilitate two public processions to be held on Hong Kong Island.

     A procession will depart King・s Road Playground at 2pm for Des Voeux Road West near Western Police Station via westbound Marble Road, southbound Kam Hong Street, westbound King・s Road, westbound Causeway Road, westbound Irving Street, northbound Pennington Street, westbound Yee Wo Street, westbound Hennessy Road, westbound Queensway, westbound Queen・s Road Central, westbound Queen・s Road West and northbound Western Street.

     Another procession will depart Times Square at 2.30pm for Central Government Complex via Russell Street (eastward), Kai Chiu Road northern pavement (eastward), northbound Jardine・s Crescent, northbound Jardine・s Bazaar, westbound Hennessy Road, westbound Queensway, Pacific Place footbridge, Queensway Plaza, Admiralty Centre and Harcourt Road footbridge.

     Police will intermittently close some traffic lanes along the procession routes when necessary. Motorists are advised to drive with care and patience, and follow the instructions of the Police on site.
