Winning entries of Greater Pearl River Delta Historical Buildings Photography Competition on display at HK Cultural Centre and libraries

     The winning entries of the Greater Pearl River Delta (GPRD) Historical Buildings Photography Competition, which were announced in April, will soon go on display. Arranged through the GPRD Cultural Information Website (www.prdculture.org), the competition focused on the historical buildings of Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macau, and also provided a platform for cultural exchange among photography enthusiasts in the three places. All winning entries will be displayed at a roving exhibition in Hong Kong, Guangdong and Macau to enable visitors to learn more about the historical buildings in the three places and enhance public awareness of cultural heritage conservation.

     Details of the exhibition in Hong Kong, to be held from tomorrow (September 16) in various venues, are as follows:

     The exhibition was jointly organised by the Department of Culture of Guangdong Province, the Home Affairs Bureau of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) and the Cultural Affairs Bureau of the Macau Special Administrative Region, and was co-ordinated by the Culture and Art Information Center, Guangdong Province, the Leisure and Cultural Services Department of the HKSAR and the Cultural Affairs Bureau of the Macau Special Administrative Region.
