Police will implement special traffic arrangements this Sunday (September 15) to facilitate four public processions to be held on Hong Kong Island.
The first procession will depart from City Garden Road junction of Power Street at 10am for Kam Ping Street, via Power Street eastern pavement (southward), eastbound Electric Road, southbound Tin Chong Street, eastbound King¡¦s Road, northbound North Point Road, eastbound Chun Yeung Street, northbound Tong Shui Road, eastbound Java Road, southbound Kam Hong Street and westbound King¡¦s Road.
The second procession will depart from the basketball court beside 310 Hennessy Road at noon for Hong Kong Institute of Vocation Education (Morrison Hill) and 44 Oi Kwan Road, via Wan Chai Road southern pavement (westward), southbound Wood Road and southbound Wing Cheung Street.
The third procession will depart from East Point Road Pedestrian Precinct at 1pm for the open space outside Central Pier No.9, via westbound Hennessy Road, westbound Queensway, Pacific Place footbridge, Queensway Plaza, United Centre footbridge, CITIC Tower footbridge, Tim Mei Avenue footbridge, Tamar Park, Lung Wo Road northern pavement (westward), Edinburgh Place, Connaught Place, Connaught Place footbridge, Connaught Road Central footbridge, Exchange Square (Phase I) Podium, Connaught Road Central footbridge, Man Yiu Street footbridge and Man Kwong Street northern pavement.
The fourth procession will depart from Paterson Street near George Street at 1.45pm for Keswick Street, via Paterson Street (southward), eastbound Yee Wo Street, u-turn at Causeway Road near Tung Lo wan Road, westbound Causeway Road and westbound Leighton Road.
Police will intermittently close some traffic lanes along the procession routes when necessary. Motorists are advised to drive with care and patience, and follow the instruction of the Police on site.
