FS expresses grief over death of Dr Lee Quo-wei

     The Financial Secretary, Mr John C Tsang, has expressed his grief over the passing of Dr Lee Quo-wei.

     Mr Tsang said today (August 13), "Dr Lee was an influential Chinese banker and an iconic figure in Hong Kong's financial sector. His tremendous contributions to and his influence on Hong Kong's banking and financial sectors were far-reaching. Also committed to education and public services in Hong Kong, Dr Lee contributed a lot to the community.

     "My deepest condolences go to Dr Lee's family."
