The Information Services Department (ISD) is taking part in this year's Hong Kong Book Fair (July 17 to 23) under the theme of "Which Book is Your Target?"
A total of 120 government titles, CDs, VCDs and DVDs will be on sale at the fair, with 54 sold at no less than a 25 per cent discount, including the newly published yearbook "Hong Kong 2012".
A number of specially priced publications are also on sale this year, such as the Hong Kong Observatory Calendar 2013, the Hong Kong Observatory Almanac 2013, a "Chinese Recipes" series and "Mapping Hong Kong: A Historical Atlas", with discounts ranging from 47 per cent to 85 per cent.
Customers buying publications at the ISD booth will receive a souvenir bookmark and may pay for items in cash or with an Octopus card.
Customers are also asked to bring along their own carry bag as plastic bags will not be handed out at the booth.
The ISD booth is located at stall C38 in Hall 1B of the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre.
