The summer holiday is just around the corner and it is time for parents to make summer plans for their children. To tie in with the current "Intelligence Infinity: Inspiration through Art" exhibition, the Hong Kong Heritage Museum has organised an array of extension activities in which children can learn in a cheerful way and develop their multiple intelligences.

Details of the extension activities are as follows:

The activity will encourage children and parents to work at home by finding more recyclable materials and making musical instruments that they can take onstage to play in the "Improv Sunday" concert the next day (August 25). During "Improv Sunday", the museum will reverberate with the beating of drums when Dr Lung ups the tempo and conducts the participants as they play the environmentally friendly instruments they have created. Participants will be invited to perform improvised music with students from the Hong Kong Percussion Centre.
