New District Officer for Kwun Tung assumes office (with photo)

     Mr Gilford Law Sun-on will assume the post of District Officer (Kwun Tung) tomorrow (July 2), succeeding Mr Au Hing-yuen.

     Mr Law joined the Administrative Service in 1997. He has served in various bureaux and departments including the former Works Bureau, the Home Affairs Department, the former Housing, Planning and Lands Bureau, the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department, the Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office (Tokyo) of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government and the Home Affairs Bureau.

     He was the Press Secretary to the Chief Secretary for Administration before taking up the new post.
