The Government today (June 28) announced that the Chief Executive has appointed Ms Teresa Ko Yuk-yin, an incumbent member of the Standing Committee, as the Chairman of the Standing Committee on Disciplined Services Salaries and Conditions of Service (the Standing Committee) from July 1, 2013 to December 31, 2014.
The Chief Executive has also appointed Mr Kent Ho Ching-tak as a new member of the Standing Committee from July 1, 2013 to December 31, 2014.
The Standing Committee advises the Government on matters relating to the salaries and conditions of service of the disciplined services. Other serving members of the Standing Committee are Mr William Chan Fu-keung, Mr Horace Cheung Kwok-kwan, Professor Richard Ho Yan-ki, Ir James Kwan Yuk-choi, Mrs Margaret Leung Ko May-yee, Ms Caroline Mak Sui-king, Miss Melissa Wu and Mr Thomas Wu.
