The Chief Executive, Mr C Y Leung, met the visiting Governor of Jiangxi Province, Mr Lu Xinshe, at Government House tonight (June 6) to exchange views on issues of mutual concern.
Mr Leung welcomed the visit by Mr Lu and his delegation for the Jiangxi (Hong Kong) Week for Investment Promotion. He said that Jiangxi has organised the event for 12 consecutive years in Hong Kong, which exemplifies the close economic and trade relationships between Hong Kong and Jiangxi.
Mr Leung said he hopes that Jiangxi can continue to leverage on Hong Kong's business advantages as an international commercial and financial centre to step up its efforts to encourage local enterprises to "go global".
