The Town Planning Board (the Board) today (May 31) announced amendments to the draft Mong Kok Outline Zoning Plan (OZP).
The amendments involve the rezoning of a site at the junction of Soy Street and Shanghai Street from "Government, Institution or Community" ("G/IC") to "Residential (Group A)4" ("R(A)4") with the requirement to provide a community hall within the site; and a site located between Shanghai Street and Reclamation Street from "G/IC" to "Residential (Group A)" ("R(A)") to facilitate residential developments, as well as some technical amendments to the Notes for various zones.
The draft Mong Kok OZP No. S/K3/30 incorporating the amendments is now available for public inspection during office hours at the Secretariat of the Board, the Planning Enquiry Counters of the Planning Department in North Point and Sha Tin, the Tsuen Wan and West Kowloon District Planning Office and the Yau Tsim Mong District Office.
Any person can make written representation in respect of the amendments to the Secretary of the Board on or before July 31. Representations made to the Board will be made available for public inspection.
Copies of the draft OZP are available for sale at the Map Publications Centres in North Point and Yau Ma Tei. The electronic version of the OZP can be viewed at the Board's website at www.info.gov.hk/tpb.
