With regard to media enquiries on the meeting arrangements of the Executive Council (ExCo), the ExCo Secretariat today (May 21) responded as follows:
The cancellation of ExCo meetings on non-recess days has precedents and is not uncommon. From 2007 to present, more than 10 regular Tuesday meetings of ExCo were cancelled.
