The Civil Engineering and Development Department (CEDD) in association with the Leisure and Cultural Services Department will present an exhibition and a lecture entitled "When Hillsides Collapse - A Century of Landslides in Hong Kong - Be Prepared for Danger in Times of Peace" this month. Through display panels, video shows, a game booth, an information kiosk and expert talks, the activities will provide an opportunity for the public to revisit the history of landslides in Hong Kong, thereby enhancing their knowledge and awareness of slope safety and landslide risk. The exhibition will also introduce the CEDD's landslide mitigation measures.
Admission to the exhibition and lecture is free. Details are as follows.
