The Financial Secretary, Mr John C Tsang, visited Zhongshan today (March 27).
On arrival in Zhongshan, Mr Tsang first held a meeting with the Mayor of Zhongshan, Mr Chen Liangxian, followed by a lunch. Both sides exchanged views on issues related to enhancing collaboration between the two places.
Mr Tsang then met with representatives of Hong Kong enterprises in Zhongshan to gain a deeper understanding of the business environment and their living conditions there. Mr Tsang also took the opportunity to see for himself a commercial development and a residential development.
Later, a visit to the Zhongshan Tsui Hang New District Planning Exhibition Centre enabled Mr Tsang to better understand the direction and planning of development in Tsui Hang New District.
