Many of our home-grown technological products have risen to global fame and won renowned international awards.

"With its strategic location, sophisticated infrastructure and a tech-savvy culture, Hong Kong is an ideal place to do ICT business, share knowledge and exchange insights."

Mr Lai noted that by bundling a variety of ICT events in two weeks under the International IT Fest, the Government and the ICT industry are working together to promote the strengths and vibrancy of the industry and create greater promotional impact, thus further strengthening Hong Kong's image as a regional ICT hub and enhancing its position in the global arena.
