CS to attend Working Meeting of Hong Kong/Guangdong Co-operation Joint Conference in Guangzhou

     The Chief Secretary for Administration, Mrs Carrie Lam, will lead a Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) delegation to visit Guangzhou on Friday morning (March 15) to co-chair the 18th Working Meeting of the Hong Kong/Guangdong Co-operation Joint Conference with the Vice-Governor of Guangdong Province, Ms Zhao Yufang.

     At the meeting, the two sides will review the progress of implementation of the 2012 Work Plan of the Framework Agreement on Hong Kong/Guangdong Co-operation and draw up the 2013 Work Plan.

     Members of the HKSAR Government delegation include the Secretary for Constitutional and Mainland Affairs, Mr Raymond Tam; the Secretary for Food and Health, Dr Ko Wing-man; the Permanent Secretary for Constitutional and Mainland Affairs, Ms Chang King-yiu; the Permanent Secretary for Development (Works), Mr Wai Chi-sing; the Under Secretary for Financial Services and the Treasury, Ms Julia Leung; the Under Secretary for the Environment, Ms Christine Loh and the Under Secretary for Security, Mr John Lee.

     Mrs Lam will return to Hong Kong in the afternoon on the same day.
