The Town Planning Board today (February 15) announced amendments to the approved Kowloon Tong Outline Zoning Plan (OZP).
The amendments involve the rezoning of a site at Renfrew Road, covering the southern part of the ex-Lee Wai Lee Campus, from "Government, Institution or Community (9)" to "Residential (Group B)" for residential development, and a site at Dumbarton Road covering the Bethel Bible Seminary from "Government, Institution or Community (3)" to "Government, Institution or Community (12)" (eastern portion) and "Residential (Group C)9" (western portion) for redevelopment of the seminary (with the existing historic building, Sun Hok Building, preserved in-situ) and residential development respectively.
The draft Kowloon Tong OZP No. S/K18/17, incorporating the amendments, is now available for public inspection during office hours at the Secretariat of the Town Planning Board, the Planning Enquiry Counters of the Planning Department in North Point and Sha Tin, the Kowloon District Planning Office and the Kowloon City District Office.
Any person can make written representation in respect of the amendments to the Secretary of the Town Planning Board on or before April 15. Representations made to the Town Planning Board will be available for public inspection.
Copies of the draft OZP are available for sale at the Map Publications Centres in North Point and Yau Ma Tei. The electronic version of the OZP can be viewed at the Town Planning Board's website (www.info.gov.hk/tpb).
