| The signing ceremony for the Memorandum of Understanding on library co-operation between the Hong Kong Public Libraries and the Bavarian State Library was held today (January 21) at Hong Kong Central Library (HKCL) and in Munich at the same time through videoconferencing. The officiating guests were the Assistant Director of Leisure and Cultural Services (Libraries and Development), Mr Lee Yuk-man (first left); the Chief Librarian of HKCL, Ms Rochelle Lau (second left); the Deputy Director General of the Bavarian State Library of the Federal Republic of Germany, Dr Klaus Ceynowa (second right); and the Deputy Head of the Oriental and Asia Department, Dr Thomas Tabery (first right). |
