Tenders awarded for residential site and business site

     The Lands Department today (November 28) announced that the tenders for a residential site and a business site have been awarded on 50-year land grant at a total premium of $4,644.3 million.

     The residential site, Tseung Kwan O Town Lot No. 95 in Area 68A2, Tseung Kwan O, New Territories, was awarded to Strongly Limited at $2,826 million. The business site, New Kowloon Inland Lot No. 6311 at the junction of Sheung Yuet Road, Wang Tai Road and Wang Yuen Street, Kowloon Bay, Kowloon, was awarded to Sanefire Company Limited at $1,818.3 million.

     "Authority from the Central Tender Board was given to the Lands Department to award the two sites to the highest tenderers," a Government spokesman said.

     The tenderers other than the successful tenderer in respect of each lot in alphabetical order were:

     Tseung Kwan O Town Lot No. 95 has a site area of about 21,306 square metres and is designated for non-industrial (excluding godown, hotel and petrol filling station) purposes. The minimum gross floor area and the maximum gross floor area are 31,959 square metres and 53,265 square metres respectively, of which not less than 25,567 square metres and not exceeding 42,612 square metres are for private residential purposes. The total number of residential units to be built shall not be less than 535.

     New Kowloon Inland Lot No. 6311 has a site area of about 2,579 square metres and is designated for non-residential (excluding petrol filling station and residential care home) purposes. The minimum gross floor area and the maximum gross floor area are 18,569 square metres and 30,948 square metres respectively.
