The Lands Department today (November 7) announced that the tenders for two residential sites have been awarded on a 50-year land grant at a total premium of $5,446 million.
Tseung Kwan O Town Lot No. 118 in Area 66D2, Tseung Kwan O, New Territories, was awarded to Hinwood Investment Limited at $2,545 million, while Sha Tin Town Lot No. 574 at Choi Sha Street, Lok Wo Sha, Ma On Shan, Sha Tin, New Territories, was awarded to Crown Treasure Investments Limited at $2,901 million.
"Authority from the Central Tender Board was given to the Lands Department to award the two sites to the highest tenderers," a government spokesman said.

Tseung Kwan O Town Lot No. 118 has a site area of about 14,954 square metres and is designated for non-industrial (excluding godown, hotel and petrol filling station) purposes. The minimum gross floor area and the maximum gross floor area are 31,403 square metres and 52,339 square metres respectively, of which not less than 26,917 square metres and not exceeding 44,862 square metres are for private residential purposes. The total number of residential units to be built shall not be less than 600 and shall not exceed 630.
Sha Tin Town Lot No. 574 has a site area of about 14,400 square metres and is designated for private residential purposes. The minimum gross floor area and the maximum gross floor area are 31,336 square metres and 52,227 square metres respectively. The total number of residential units to be built shall not be less than 440 and shall not exceed 463.
