Police arrested a 48-year-old man and a 35-year-old woman suspected to be in connection with a murder case in Yau Ma Tei on October 24.
At about 11am on October 24, Police received a report that a 49-year-old woman was found lying unconscious on a bed inside a unit at 226 Shanghai Street. Police officers arrived at the scene and located the body of the woman.
Police arrested a 45-year-old man in connection with the case on October 25. He was released on police bail.
After further investigation, Police arrested the 48-year-old man in Wong Tai Sin yesterday afternoon (October 29) and the 35-year-old woman in Lok Ma Chau in the small hours today (October 30) respectively. They are arrested for murder and are being detained for further enquiries.
Active investigations by the Regional Crime Unit of Kowloon West are under way.
