The Chief Secretary for Administration, Mrs Carrie Lam, will visit Beijing from September 23 to 25.
During her visit, Mrs Lam will pay courtesy calls on the Hong Kong and Macao Affairs Office of the State Council, the National Development and Reform Commission, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Health, the National Bureau of Statistics and the Beijing Municipal Government. She will also meet with the All-China Women's Federation, and visit the cultural facilities in Beijing. In addition, she will host an exchange session with Hong Kong people in Beijing to listen to their needs.
Mrs Lam will depart for Beijing on Sunday (September 23) and return to Hong Kong on September 25. During her absence, the Secretary for Home Affairs, Mr Tsang Tak-sing, will be acting Chief Secretary for Administration.
