The Police will implement special traffic arrangements from 11am to 12.45pm on September 22 (Saturday) to facilitate the holding of a parade in Wong Tai Sin.
I. Road closure and traffic diversion
(a) A section of eastbound Ching Tak Street between Lung On House and Lung Fai House of Lower Wong Tai Sin Estate will be closed;
(b) The general loading bay on eastbound Ching Tak Street outside Lung Fai House will be closed;
(c) The public light bus stand at westbound Ching Tak Street outside Lung Hing House will be suspended and available to all vehicles; and
(d) Vehicles on eastbound Ching Tak Street heading for southbound Shatin Pass Road will be diverted to u-turn at the public light bus stand on westbound Ching Tak Street outside Lung Hing House, and route via westbound Ching Tak Street, southbound Ching Tak Street, northbound Tung Tau Tsuen Road and Shatin Pass Road.
II. Suspension of parking spaces
The motorcycle parking spaces on eastbound Ching Tak Street outside Wong Tai Sin Plaza will be suspended.
III. Restriction on access to/exit from carparks
(a) Vehicles access to the carpark of Wong Tai Sin Plaza on Ching Tak Street near Lung Kwong House will be prohibited. Vehicles parked in the carpark will not be permitted to leave until the closed road is re-opened; and
(b) Vehicles access to Wong Tai Sin Shopping Centre Multi-Storey Carpark on Ching Tak Street opposite Lung Fai House will be prohibited. Vehicles leaving the carpark will not be restricted.
IV. Suspension of public light bus stand
The public light bus stand at eastbound Ching Tak Street outside Lung Kwong House will be suspended.
Actual implementation of road closure will be made at the time depending on conditions in the area. Motorists are urged to follow instructions of Police at scene.
