Seminar for SMEs on "A Multi-pronged Approach to Developing the Mainland's Domestic Market and Brand Building for Enhancing Competitiveness"

     The Support and Consultation Centre for SMEs (SUCCESS) of the Trade and Industry Department will hold a seminar entitled "A Multi-pronged Approach to Developing the Mainland's Domestic Market and Brand Building for Enhancing Competitiveness" on September 19 (Wednesday). The seminar will explore the strategies for tapping the Mainland market, focusing on developing the Mainland's domestic market and brand building.

     Speakers will include the Chief Brand Consultant of Maxi Communications Ltd, Mr Charles Ng; the Vice-President and Chief Consultant of Grandford Consulting Group, Dr Daniel Kwong; the Director of Great Eastern Co Ltd, Mr Philip Pau; the Managing Director of Kin Man Garment Factory Ltd, Mr Felix Chan; and the Managing Director of Delicron (HK) Ltd, Dr Edward Lam.

     The guest speakers will share their insights and experience on developing the Mainland's domestic market and brand building. Mr Ng and Dr Kwong will also analyse the cases of Kin Man Garment Factory Ltd and Delicron (HK) Ltd, and suggest solutions to the problems encountered by the two enterprises. Mr Pau will explore with SMEs the channels and marketing strategy for developing the Mainland's domestic market. The seminar will be moderated by the Deputy Chairman of the International Institute of Management, Professor Alfred Ho.

     The seminar will be held at 2.30pm in the Lecture Theatre, G/F, Hong Kong Central Library, 66 Causeway Road, Causeway Bay (MTR Tin Hau station, exit B). The seminar will be conducted in Cantonese. Admission is free.
