     Following is the transcript of remarks by the Chief Executive, Mr Donald Tsang, at a media session before moving out of Government House tonight (June 30):

Dear friends,

     It has been a supreme honour to have been able to serve Hong Kong as Chief Executive.

     I've counted each of the 2,567 days as a great blessing.

     My colleagues and I have given our very best to honour the pledges we had made. We aimed for a perfect ending. But, of course, some lines just don't rhyme. Yet, this great poem called Hong Kong will continue to touch readers for many generations to come.

     Selina and I will now sit back and applaud this masterpiece from a distance.

     The two of us would forever be thankful to you -- Hong Kong.
