************************************************************

An additional performance of the multimedia puppetry show "Harmony" has been scheduled for August 5 in response to overwhelming public demand. Tickets will be available from June 16 (Saturday) onwards at URBTIX.

Produced by Canada's Thm?tre de la Dame de Coeur, "Harmony" is one of the highlights of the Eco-Friend Series, which in turn is part of the International Arts Carnival 2012, presented by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department.

This multimedia puppetry show follows the amazing adventures of a boy doctor called Shin, who flies on the back of Ko the pelican to every corner of the world in a bid to save thousands of Planet Earth's inhabitants. Many creatures, including fireflies, belugas, and an old owl, are threatened by man's devastating impact on the environment and lose their homes.

Thm?tre de la Dame de Coeur is a one-of-a-kind company that integrates research, production and technology with artistic vision, puppetry and the performing arts. In this internationally acclaimed show, the company employs colourful giant puppets, stunning audio-visual effects, expressive animation and songs as it seeks to show the importance of a balanced ecosystem on Earth. Let's join Shin in his green adventure to different corners of the world, cheer for him and learn by heart the meaning of harmony and respect for nature.

The additional performance of "Harmony" will be held at 7.30pm on August 5 at Kwai Tsing Theatre Auditorium. The show will be conducted in Cantonese dialogue and English lyrics, with Chinese and English surtitles.

Other shows of "Harmony" will also be held at Kwai Tsing Theatre Auditorium on August 3 at 7.30pm and on August 4 to 5 at 3.30pm, in Cantonese dialogue and English lyrics with Chinese and English surtitles; and on August 4 at 7.30pm, in English with Chinese and English surtitles. Tickets priced at $240, $180 and $120 are offered.
