This qipao was specially made for Secretary for Development Mrs Carrie Lam before she assumed the post of Director-General of the Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office in London in 2004. Mrs Lam wanted a simple and elegant qipao which would match well with short jackets and shawls when attending London functions. The qipao was provided for the exhibition by Mrs Lam.   Close
