The Home Affairs Bureau today (April 20) announced the re-appointment of Mr Charles Chow Chan-lum as the Chairman of the Cantonese Opera Advisory Committee. The membership of the Committee in the new term comprises 18 re-appointed members and seven new members.
The new appointments and re-appointments are made for a two-year term, effective from May 1, 2012, to April 30, 2014.
A spokesman for the Home Affairs Bureau thanked the outgoing members, Mr Law Hang-tong (Law Ka-ying), Mr Seto Yok (Loong Koon Tin), Mrs Marilyn To Wai Sau-ming, Mr Li Hon-kwong, Professor Yu Siu-wah and Mr Ludwig Ng Siu-wing for the contributions they have made to the work of the Committee.
