The Lands Department today (March 1) announced that tenders for a commercial site and a residential site had been awarded on 50-year land grant at a total premium of $430.28 million.
The commercial site, Tin Shui Wai Town Lot No. 26 at Area 108A, Tin Shui Wai, Yuen Long, New Territories, was awarded to Lucky Leading Limited at $411.28 million. The residential site, Lot No. 676 in Demarcation District Peng Chau at Peng Lei Road, Peng Chau, was awarded to Fortune Glory Investments Limited at $19 million.
"Authority from the Central Tender Board was given to the Lands Department to award the two sites to the highest tenderers," a Government spokesman said.
The tenderers other than the two successful tenderers in respect of each lot in alphabetical order were:
(a) Tin Shui Wai Town Lot No. 26
(1) Billion Grand Corporation Limited
(2) Diamond Summit Limited
(3) Ever Crown Development Limited
(4) Jet Union Development Limited
(5) Rapid Prosperous Limited
(b) Lot No. 676 in Demarcation District Peng Chau
(1) Southmark Corporation Limited
Tin Shui Wai Town Lot No. 26 has a site area of about 6,500 square metres and is designated for non-industrial (excluding residential, godown and petrol filling station) purposes. The minimum gross floor area and the maximum gross floor area are 15,600 square metres and 26,000 square metres respectively.
Lot No. 676 in Demarcation District Peng Chau has a site area of about 4,564 square metres and is designated for private residential purposes. The minimum gross floor area and the maximum gross floor area are 2,054 square metres and 3,423 square metres respectively.
