With the arrival of seasonal cold weather, the Hong Kong Red Cross Blood Transfusion Service (BTS) would like to take the opportunity to wish the public a happy, successful and prosperous year of Dragon 2012. The BTS would also like to remind the public to carry on giving blood during the holidays - it's the best way to express your care and blessings to patients in need of blood during this period.
During the coming Chinese New Year holidays, we particularly need more donors who are of type A and O positive blood groups to donate blood to ensure an adequate blood supply.
As a token of our appreciation for your blood donations, those giving blood from now until January 31 will be presented with a set of "Donation Buddy Fortune Fai-Chun" door hangers to bring joy to their family. The gift is available while stocks last.
