| With Christmas and the New Year around the corner, the Government is stepping up its anti-drug publicity efforts to remind the public, in particular the youth, to remain vigilant and stay away from drugs during the holidays. The Narcotics Division, the Hong Kong Police Force and the Action Committee Against Narcotics (ACAN), joined by various government departments and district organisations, held an anti-drug event today (December 16) at the Lo Wu Boundary Control Point. Those officiating at the event included ACAN Chairman, Professor Daniel Shek (third right); Commissioner for Narcotics, Mrs Erika Hui (centre); and the Deputy Commander of Police Border District, Mr Chiu Ming-wah (third left). |
