Police are investigating a murder and suicide case in Aberdeen yesterday (October 12) in which a 61-year-old man and a 57-year-old woman died.
At about 8pm yesterday, Police received a report that someone shouted for help in a unit of Pik Yuen House of Shek Pai Wan Estate. Police sped to the scene and found the 61-year-old man fallen from the unit onto the podium where he was certified dead at scene. The 57-year-old woman was found lying unconscious with serious injuries on the head inside the unit. She was rushed to Queen Mary Hospital where she was later certified dead at 8.52pm.
A knife in suspected connection with the case was seized at scene.
Post-mortem examinations will be conducted today (October 13) to ascertain the cause of their deaths.
Investigations by the District Crime Squad of Western District are underway.
