The Lands Department today (July 28) announced that the tenders for a residential site and a commercial site had been awarded on 50-year land grant at a total premium of $7,202,201,234.
The residential site, Tung Chung Town Lot No. 36, at Area 55a, Tung Chung, Lantau Island, was awarded to Pacific Earth Enterprise Limited at $3,770,000,000. The commercial site, New Kowloon Inland Lot No. 6314, at the junction of Kai Cheung Road and Wang Kwong Road, Kowloon Bay, was awarded to Smart Edge Limited at $3,432,201,234.
"Authority from the Central Tender Board was given to the Lands Department to award the two sites to the highest tenderers," a Government spokesman said.
The tenderers other than the two successful tenderers in respect of each lot in alphabetical order were:

(4) Super Record Limited
(b) New Kowloon Inland Lot No. 6314

Tung Chung Town Lot No. 36 has a site area of about 25,400 square metres and is designated for non-industrial (excluding godown, office, hotel and petrol filling station) purposes. The minimum gross floor area and the maximum gross floor area for private residential purposes are 76,200 square metres and 127,000 square metres respectively. The total number of residential units to be built shall not be less than 2,020 with the size of each residential unit not exceeding a saleable area of 60 square metres, of which at least 1,650 residential units shall range in saleable area from 35 square metres to 45 square metres and at least 370 residential units shall range in saleable area from exceeding 45 square metres to 60 square metres.
New Kowloon Inland Lot No. 6314 has a site area of about 6,600 square metres and is designated for non-industrial (excluding residential, godown and petrol filling station) purposes. The minimum gross floor area and the maximum gross floor area are 47,520 square metres and 79,200 square metres respectively.
