Police appeal for information on fatal traffic accident in Kowloon City

     Police today (July 25) appealed for information on a traffic accident in Kowloon City on July 15 in which a 74-year-old man was killed.

     At about 5.05am on July 15, a private light bus (PLB) driven by a 55-year-old man was travelling along Prince Edward Road West towards Sham Shui Po. When reaching near Junction Road, the PLB reportedly knocked down a 74-year-old man who was crossing the road.

     Sustaining serious injuries, the man was rushed to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital where he was certified dead at 6.24pm on July 18.

     Investigations by the Special Investigation Team of Traffic Kowloon West are proceeding.
