Police appealed for information about a fatal traffic accident in Yau Ma Tei this morning (June 22) in which a man was killed.
At 9.05am, a public light bus (PLB) driven by a 48-year-old man was travelling along southbound Ferry Street. When approaching near Saigon Street, the PLB reportedly knocked down a 76-year-old man who was crossing the road.
The man sustained serious injuries and was rushed to Kwong Wah Hospital in semi-conscious state. He was certified dead in the hospital at 3.39pm.
Investigations by the Special Investigation Team of Traffic, Kowloon West are under way.
