Police today (May 27) appealed to the public for information on a body found in Tin Shui Wai last month.
About 1.05am on April 3, Police received a report that a fire broke out in a hut at 22 Tin Sam Tsuen and a burnt male body was later found inside the premises.
Standing about 1.5 to 1.6 metres tall and of thin build, the deceased is believed to be a 74-year-old man named "Siu Kwok-wing" who lived there.
Initial investigations revealed that there were no suspicious circumstances surrounding his death. The cause of death is to be ascertained pending toxicological examinations.
Anyone who has information on the next of kin of the deceased is urged to contact officers of Yuen Long Police District at 3661 4641.
