The Town Planning Board (the Board) today (May 13) announced amendments to the draft Tseung Kwan O Outline Zoning Plan (OZP).
A site in Area 85 has been rezoned to "Government, Institution or Community (9)" ("G/IC(9)") with stipulation of building height restriction for the development of Radio Television Hong Kong Broadcasting House and reservation of land for future Government, Institution or Community uses. The Notes of the "Government, Institution or Community" zone is also revised by adding "Information Technology and Telecommunications Industries (within "G/IC(9)" only)" as a Column 2 use.
The draft Tseung Kwan O OZP No. S/TKO/19, incorporating the amendments, is now available for public inspection during office hours at the secretariat of the Board, the Planning Enquiry Counters in North Point and Sha Tin, the Sai Kung and Islands District Planning Office, the Sai Kung District Office and the Tseung Kwan O Sub-office of the Sai Kung District Office.
Any person may make written representations in respect of the amendments to the Secretary of the Board on or before July 13. Representations made to the Board will be available for public inspection.
Copies of the draft Tseung Kwan O OZP No. S/TKO/19 are available for sale at the Map Publications Centres in North Point and Yau Ma Tei. The electronic version of the plan can be viewed at the Board's website (www.info.gov.hk/tpb/).
