Music Platform to disseminate anti-drug messages
************************************************

A "Music Platform", co-organised by the Narcotics Division of the Security Bureau, the Action Committee Against Narcotics and the Hong Kong Jockey Club Drug InfoCentre (DIC), will be held at the DIC on March 19 (Saturday).

More than 10 local pop bands and singers will take part using the fun of music to spread anti-drug messages, encourage young people to pursue a healthy life and to "Stand firm! Knock drugs out".  BandOne, a band comprising staff from Kwong Wah Hospital, and "the pancakes", a local singer-songwriter, are invited as guest performers.  Bands and singers from a number of non-governmental organisations will also perform at the show.

The event will be held from 2pm to 5pm in the Interactive Theatre of the DIC (Roof Floor, Low Block, Queensway Government Offices, 66 Queensway, Hong Kong (Admiralty MTR Station - Exit C1)).  Members of the public are welcome to join the show, which is free of charge.  Tickets will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis.  For ticket and programme details, please call 2867 2831.

Supporting the event are the Hong Kong Federation of Youth Groups, Warehouse, North District and Tin Shui Wai District Youth Outreaching Social Work Team of the Evangelical Lutheran Church Hong Kong, and Caritas District Youth Outreaching Social Work Team - Southern.
