Police will implement special traffic arrangements to facilitate the 2010 Sedan Chair Race to be held at The Peak on this Sunday (October 31).
A. Road closure and diversions
- One-way clockwise vehicular traffic flow will be implemented from No. 22 Mount Kellett Road between 8.30am to 5pm.
- Diversions on Park Road, Mount Kellett Road, Peak Road, and Homestead Road may be implemented if necessary.
B. No parking arrangements and suspension of parking spaces
- Parking on the right hand side of Mount Kellett Road in clockwise direction will not be permitted between 8.30am and 5.00pm.
- Parking on the left hand side of Mount Kellett Road in clockwise direction will not be permitted between 8.30am and noon.
- Parking meters outside No. 100 Peak Road will be suspended from 6am to noon.
- Parking meters outside No. 14 Mount Kellett Road will be suspended from 6am to noon.
C. Jardine's Corner will only be opened for race traffic to pass over the Jardine's Corner Bridge from 10am until the last runner has passed.
