Police are investigating a fatal traffic accident in Cheung Sha Wan this afternoon (October 23) in which a 62-year-old man died.
About 3.25pm, a taxi driven by a 62-year-old man was travelling along Cheung Sha Wan Road towards Mong Kok. When approaching the junction of Tai Nam West Street West, the taxi reportedly lost control and rammed into the traffic signs at a roadwork site.
The driver was in unconscious and conveyed to Caritas Medical Centre for treatment. He was later certified dead 5.15pm.
Investigations by the Special Investigation Team of Traffic, Kowloon West are under way.
