The Government today (October 19) announced that the Chief Executive has re-appointed Mr Nicky Lo Kar-chun as a member of the Standing Committee on Directorate Salaries and Conditions of Service for a term of two years with effect from November 1, 2010.
The Chief Executive has also appointed a new member, Miss Eliza Chan Ching-har, to the directorate committee for a term of two years from November 1, 2010.
Ms Teresa Ko Yuk-yin will retire from the directorate committee on October 31. The Government expresses gratitude to her for her service on the committee for the past six years.
The directorate committee advises the Government on matters relating to the structure, pay and conditions of service of the directorate ranks in the civil service. It is currently under the chairmanship of Mr Tim Lui Tim-leung. Other serving members of the directorate committee are Mr Chow Chung-kong, Ms Chiang Lai-yuen and Mr Stanley Wong Yuen-fai.
