The Codes of Practice Committee of the Broadcasting Authority will hold a meeting on October 20 (Wednesday). Members of the public are welcome to observe the proceedings.
The meeting will mainly discuss the regulation of non-programme materials within television programmes, the types of materials that can be sponsored within television programmes (e.g. local date, time, weather), advertising of clinics for the treatment of hair and scalp, and claims relating to nutrition in advertisements.
The meeting will be conducted in Cantonese. It will be held at 2.30pm in the conference room of the Television and Entertainment Licensing Authority, 39th Floor, Revenue Tower, 5 Gloucester Road, Wan Chai.
