The Legislative Council (LegCo) will hold its first exhibition from October 11 to 15 in MTR Hong Kong Station Tung Chung Line Concourse. The exhibition aims at enhancing public understanding of the work of the LegCo and its Members, as well as the services provided by the LegCo Secretariat.
The LegCo President, Hon Jasper Tsang Yok-sing, hoped that the exhibition will not only enhance public knowledge of the composition and functions of LegCo, but also bring LegCo closer to the community and improve the corporate image of the Council. He added that LegCo Members will station at the exhibition site to meet the public and introduce to them the work of LegCo and how LegCo Members perform their duties.
During the period of exhibition, exhibition panels featuring the composition, power and functions of LegCo, the work of a Member, public engagement in the work of LegCo, the new LegCo Complex and the LegCo Secretariat will be displayed. A video introducing the work of LegCo and a 3D model of the new LegCo Complex will also be incorporated as part of the exhibits.
In addition, a photo corner will be set up for individual Members to meet the public and take photos with them. Interactive computer games on LegCo will also be available to foster a more joyful and pleasant atmosphere for the event.

Exhibition Period: October 11- 15 (Monday to Friday)
Time: 11am – 9 pm (October 11)
9 am – 9 pm (October 12 - 15)
Venue: MTR Hong Kong Station Tung Chung Line Concourse
Hon Jasper Tsang Yok-sing, Chairman of the House Committee, Hon Miriam Lau Kin-yee, and Deputy Chairman of the House Committee, Hon Fred Li Wah-ming, will officiate at the opening ceremony of the exhibition at 11 am on October 11 (Monday) in MTR Hong Kong Station Tung Chung Line Concourse to mark the start of the event.
