Woman charged with murder

Police today (September 30) charged a 26-year-old woman with murder.

The woman was arrested on September 28 in connection with the death of her newborn baby girl in a guesthouse room on Sai Yeung Choi Street South in Mong Kok.

A post-mortem was conducted on the deceased today but the cause of her death is yet to be ascertained pending further examinations.

The 26-year-old woman will appear at Kowloon City Magistrates' Courts on October 2.
