The following is issued on behalf of the Commission on Youth:
To enhance communication with young people, the Commission on Youth (COY) is organising a series of exchange sessions and inviting government representatives to attend to provide youths with more opportunities to exchange views with them on topics of concern.
The Secretary for Home Affairs, Mr Tsang Tak-sing, will attend the Youth Exchange Session on October 4 (Monday) to share his views on "Should Hong Kong Bid to Host the 2023 Asian Games?".
The session will be held between 7.45pm and 9.15pm at Y-Studio, 2/F, Youth Square, 238 Chai Wan Road, Chai Wan. The session will be broadcast on the COY website (www.coy.gov.hk/eng/index.htm) and online questions can be raised.
Interested parties can enroll through online registration on the homepage of the COY (www.coy.gov.hk/eng/news/news20100430.htm) or the government's youth portal (www.youth.gov.hk/apps/en/EventView.do?id=E10092000011). For enquiries, please call 2559 9973.
Enrolment will close on September 29 (Wednesday). Ballots will be drawn should the number of enrolments received exceed the capacity.
