Services provided by Mobile Library 4 and 8 would be suspended from late September to early October for routine maintenance, a Leisure and Cultural Services Department spokesman announced today (September 16).
Service points of Mobile Library 4 to be affected from September 28 (Tuesday) to October 4 (Monday) are Yat Tung Estate, Discovery Bay, Pui O, Shui Hau and Tong Fuk on Lantau Island. To enquire about the services of Mobile Library 4, please call 2984 9417.
Service points of Mobile Library 8 to be affected from September 29 (Wednesday) to October 5 (Tuesday) are Laguna City in Lam Tin, Hiu Lai Court in Sau Mau Ping, Tai Hang Tung Estate and Laguna Verde in Hung Hom. To enquire about the services of Mobile Library 8, please call 2926 3055.
The service point of Mobile Library 5 at Tai Wo Estate near Tai Wo Shopping Arcade entrance was relocated to a new parking site adjacent to Tai Wo Neighbourhood Community Centre at Fook Wok Road from September 2.
The opening hours of the service point remain unchanged, from 10am to 1pm and 2pm to 6pm on every alternate Thursday. To enquire about the services of Mobile Library 5, please call 2696 5842.
People are welcome to use other public libraries during the service suspension periods. They may also renew library materials by telephoning 2698 0002 or 2827 2833, or via the Internet at www.hkpl.gov.hk .
