Police are investigating a fatal traffic accident in Tsuen Wan this morning (September 11) in which a 54-year-old man was killed.
About 10.20am, a light goods vehicle (LGV) driven by a 37-year-old man reportedly hit the 54-year-old man while it was reversing in a carpark at 68 Sha Tsui Road.
The injured man was rushed to Yan Chai Hospital in semi-conscious state. He was later certified dead at 10.49am.
The LGV driver was arrested for dangerous driving causing death and is still being detained for further enquiries.
Investigations by the Special Investigation Team of Traffic, New Territories South are under way.
