The Secretary for the Civil Service, Miss Denise Yue, will lead a delegation of 15 Permanent Secretaries of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government to Beijing and Shanghai on September 12 for a week-long national studies course and visit.
The trip will help members of the delegation better understand the latest developments in the Mainland and foster liaison between members and Mainland officials.
In Beijing, the delegation will attend an advanced national studies course at the Chinese Academy of Governance. In Shanghai, it will call on officials of the municipal government and meet with the Bureau of the Shanghai World Expo Coordination. It will also take the opportunity to visit the Expo 2010 Shanghai China.
The study and visit trip will conclude on September 18.
