The Lands Department this afternoon (August 31) held the sixth land auction of the 2010-2011 financial year. A government lot at Kowloon Tong was sold for $1,285 million.
The lot, New Kowloon Inland Lot No. 6306 at No.1 Ede Road, Kowloon Tong, was sold to Kildare Limited at $1,285 million. The opening bid was $659 million. New Kowloon Inland Lot No. 6306 has a site area of about 2,399 square metres and is designated for private residential purposes. A minimum gross floor area of 4,319 square metres must be completed. The maximum gross floor area is 7,197 square metres.
The auction was conducted at Tsuen Wan Town Hall by the Deputy Director of Lands, Mr Graham Ross, who was assisted by the Chief Estate Surveyor, Mr Tony Moyung.
