Facebook page and condolence points set up to mourn victims (with photos/video)

     A total of 18 condolence points throughout the territory together with a dedicated facebook page were set up by the HKSAR Government today (August 24) to mourn the Hong Kong victims of the hostage incident in the Philippines.

     The facebook page at www.facebook.com/hkmourning.manila provides information on the Government's action to help the bereaved families and a platform for the public to post messages of condolence.

     The Home Affairs Department has made available condolence books in each of the 18 districts for the public to send condolences and regards to the victims and their families.

     The places for condolences will be open from 6pm to 9pm today, and from 9am to 9pm on Wednesday (August 25) and Thursday (August 26).
