Police are appealing for witnesses to a fatal traffic accident in Wong Tai Sin on July 31 in which a 87-year-old woman was killed.
At about 2.45pm that day, a light goods vehicle (LGV) driven by a 28-year-old man was travelling along Sheung Fung Street down slope. As it approached the junction of Fei Fung Street, the LGV reportedly knocked down an 87-year-old woman walking across the road.
Sustaining serious head injuries, the woman was rushed to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital where she was certified dead at 6.23 pm on August 2.
Investigations by the Special Investigation Team of Traffic, Kowloon East are underway.
